C++ header files

Postby jsg » Tue Nov 26, 2013 5:42 pm

Hi. I'm sorry if this question is too trivial, but I'm new to C++ and a bit confused with header files. I downloaded the source codes from www.markjoshi.com/design. Header files, source codes, and the main programs are located in different directories. When I compile a main program such as SimpleMCMain1.cpp my compiler is unable to find the header files. I'm using Mac with g++. Any help is appreciated.

generally you have to specify in your compiler or IDE settings where to look for header files.

(if you aren't using an IDE, my advice is get one.)

I think it's -I for g++
