Other Books or Recommendations

Postby quantfinance » Mon Apr 18, 2011 3:32 pm

This book and blog has been incredible in helping me understand C++ design patterns and derivatives pricing. I am a complete beginner and have learned a ton. However, I am an equity trader with the end goal of being able to code (write algorithms/programs) my trading strategies. I would like to be able to automate much more of my trading as I feel that is where the business is going and my job as a 'hand' trader is becoming obsolete.
Have you written any books that deal with what I am trying to learn now that I have the foundation from this book? If not, are there any books/seminars, etc. that you would recommend for what I am trying to accomplish?
It is very frustrating/scary to feel as if your job will soon be obsolete so any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Automated trading is not really my thing.

You could have a look at
